Many trails go through a forested path, but that is not always the case.
I’m more likely to use a trail if it feels safe, is well maintained, and is being used by other people too (I don’t want to be out there all alone).
According to news reports, Montgomery County has identified the White Flint Mall as the site for Amazon to redevelop into HQ2.
It’s exciting that Montgomery County is among the finalists, and this could be an opportunity to improve transit access in this largely car-dependent area.
I happened to be in White Flint today picking up my car from the auto repair shop, and took some pictures of some pedestrian crosswalks near the White Flint metro.
These fairly new crosswalks send a clear message to cars at this intersection that they need to give pedestrians the right of way.
