I marked my calendar for 25 day after my purchase shipped — Nov. I definitely could not wear layers under this jacket, unless I took the faux-fur part off. There are a lot of small details that required more work than is typically seen on a discount fashion piece.Once the fur is taken off, I can wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath comfortably. It’s also warm enough, and kept me dry on a rainy day.Placing the Order I took a leap and placed an order for a hooded coat (below), which I had been meaning to buy for weeks.Although, Rosegal’s website says it is trusted, I used Pay Pal to complete my payment. This is what I ordered: The Order Process I placed the order on Nov.I know of all of the bad reviews as well, it made me very nervous after I placed my order but it went fine.It did take longer than the 7-10 days it said, I can’t quite remember but I believe it took more than 20 days to get my order. Those who got their purchase in the mail, reported poor quality and incorrect sizing.Fashion Bloggers Weigh In If I couldn’t get to the company, I would try to get to bloggers who have either purchased items independently or did sponsored reviews for Rosegal.
I did find out that it was located in Shenzhen, China.
But she did say: “You get what you pay for on that site, so the price does reflect the quality.” How Is It Even Getting Here?
Ten days later, I was getting antsy because I couldn’t track a package without the identity of the shipping company. 11, I submitted a support ticket on Rosegal.com, requesting the status of my coat.
The problem here — I’ll elaborate later — is that Rosegal doesn’t mention what company does its shipping. There is no cofounder story, stylist blog or employee found on Linked In.
I ran the confirmation numbers through tracking websites of a few major shipping companies: Fed Ex, UPS and DHL. Red flags started popping up, so I immediately Googled “rosegal scam,” and posts began popping up everywhere. After going through several search terms, I didn’t find much useful information.
